A playing of Italia can take several hours to complete. If you don't have that long, you may like to see how the second half of the game's history plays out. This variant provides an historical setup for playing the second half of Scenario I.

To use, set up the infantry and other units as indicated, begin play of Secneario I on turn 6 and continue through the end of turn 10.
